Sheffield is in South Yorkshire, England. The population is just over 500,000 people and it is one of the top 10 biggest cities in the U.K.

Sheffield was a major steel producing centre in the 19th century during which time it's population boomed. Like many other UK cities, the population declined during the seventies and eighties and is now on the rise. The city is now experiencing extensive redevelopment and and has seen a sharp increase in office and residential space and rents.

The city is located where five rivers come together and much of the city has been built on the hillsides with views into the city centre or out to the countryside. A vast amount of the city is greenspace.
